Suzanne Bennett, D.O.

After starting her career as a Physician Assistant, Dr. Bennett decided to pursue her first interest in primary care medicine and returned to school to become a Family Physician. In 1996, Dr. Bennett earned her medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. She received her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Dr. Bennett completed her Family Medicine Residency Training at Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Suzanne Bennet, DO, a Michigan native, is the founder of Bennett Family Medicine and The Apple Wellness Center. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Bennett has received extensive training from the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine with emphasis on treatment with Bioidentical Hormones. She is also pursuing a fellowship degree in Bariatric Medicine (Weight Loss) and has been director of the Weight Loss Program offered through the Apple Wellness Center and Bennett Family Medicine. She enjoys women’s and men’s health issues, preventative medicine and has special interests in pediatric and adolescent medicine. These interests, combined with family medicine, make her well suited to take care of the entire family. Dr. Bennett is active in her community and enjoys exercise, yoga, travel as well as spending time with her family. She and her husband and two children reside in Phoenix.
